Kim Nguyen - Principal Physiotherapist

In August 2007, Kim embarked on an enriching journey as Principal Physiotherapist of Back In Motion Ascot Vale. Kim currently leads a modest team of staff who are all dedicated in assisting clients to achieve sustainable results . She is experienced in Pilates and Women's Health and has a particular interest in sports injuries. She endeavors for Back In Motion Ascot Vale to be widely recognized for its commitment to its clients.

Shelley Buck - Physiotherapy Associate

Shelley completed her undergraduate Physiotherapy Degree at Curtin University in Western Australia. She moved to Melbourne in 2009 to embark on a new adventure and joined the Back in Motion Health Group soon after. Shelley has experience in elite level sports such as Australian Rules Football and Baseball. She has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, women’s health and clinical Pilates. In her spare time she enjoys catching up with friends and exploring the state. She is involved in a variety of sports including touch rugby and athletics and plans to compete in triathlons.

Diane Alvis - Physiotherapy Associate

Diane completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Melbourne. Throughout her training, she has had experience in both the hospital and private practice settings.  She has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as Clinical Pilates. Diane also has completed a course in dry needling as part of her interest as well as to enhance the treatment of musculoskeletal problems. She is currently a member of the Musculoskeletal group in the Australian Physiotherapy Association. What makes her smile the most is seeing her clients recover and engaging back into their active lifestyles once again. During her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, catching up with her friends and participating in local fun runs in Australia.

Lan Chu - Practice Manager

Lan joined the Back In Motion Ascot Vale team in August 2007 and has witnessed the clinic prospering over the years. Since graduating from Maroondah Secondary College in 2003, Lan has worked in hospitality and retail. Through her experiences, Lan developed great customer service skills and enjoyed working and socializing with her customers. She hopes to lead a team of administrative staff as Back In Motion Ascot Vale continues its journey to become significant in its community.

Steph Aalders - Administrator

Steph has grown up in the western suburbs and is 5th of 7 children. She is currently undertaking her 3rd year at Victoria University studying exercise science, working towards a career in the rehabilitation field. Through her studies she is fortunate enough to be involved in the TAC cup testing of the under 18’s football players. She has worked in retail for the past 6 years gaining considerable lifetime attributes. She enjoys many sports like athletics and tennis and is currently involved in yoga.
