Brad Beer- Director Physiotherapist
B.Phty, B.Ex Sc (Grif),[ M.A.P.A, M.S.P.A, acupuncturist]
In 2010 Brad amalgamated the existing and enormously successful My Back's Physio to proudly incorporate with the Back In Motion Health Group, becoming QLD's first Back In Motion Practice.
Brad graduated from Griffith University’s Physiotherapy and Exercise program in 2005. Brad founded My Back’s Physio Australia Pty Ltd as he was passionate about providing physiotherapy excellence for his patients as he recognisd that a specialised approach to lower back pain management was not provided for by the physiotherapy industry. He was an elite junior triathlete and his physiotherapy specialities include; elite athlete mangament reahabilitation and prevention of injuries, back, shoulder, and knee pain, sports injuries/rehab and acupuncture.
Brad has had extensive experience working with sports teams Southport Sharks, Labrador Tigers, and the Surfers Paradise Demons AFL. Brad regularly works with some of Australia's best athletes including 2007 & 2009 Australian Open Ironman Champion Pierce Leonard, and 2006 & 2008 Australian Open Ironman Champion and 2009 Nutrigrain Ironman Champion Shannon Eckstein. Along with 6 x World Kick Boxing Champion Nathan Corbett and world wake-boarding champion Jeffrey Weatherall.
Brad is a member of the Australia Physiotherapy Association (APA) and further member of the Sports, Business, Leadership and Musculoskeletal branches of the APA.
In 2009 Brad and the My Back's Physio Team were awarded with a Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for the highly contested 'Trades, Professions, & Services' category. In late 2009 Brad was a finalist in the 2009 Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Interests: Brad is a keen surfer and enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and freinds, family and Generation Church. Competitive running. In 2009 Brad completed his first marathon the Gold Coast Marathon in an incredible debut time of 3:01! Brad's initial interest in physiotherapy spawned from his 10 year junior triathlon career.

Justin Mistry- Physiotherapist

Justin graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with his Masters of Physiotherapy and completed his acupunture qualifications in 2009. His areas of specialty include neurological physiotherapy conditions (post stroke) and has a vested interest in the tratment of BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Sports, strains and sprains, lower back and neck pain and postural dysfunction and ergonomics (work environment) are other specialities. Justin is one of the few people in Australia recognised by golfing giant Titleist as a CGFI (Certified Golf Fitness Instructor). Justin has cared for 'Crusty Demons' motorcross star Kain Saul and former Australian Test cricketer Gavin Roberts. Justin is a member of the Australia Physiotherapy Association (APA) and further member of the Business and Musculoskeletal branches of the APA.
Interests: cricket, rugby union, golf, tennis and cooking. He also loves to learn how to surf, speak Spanish and play guitar.

Michelle McDonald- Physiotherapist, Certified Acupuncturist
Level 1 Pilates Instructor, B.Phty (Hons) (UQ) M.A.P.A
Michelle graduated from the University of QLD with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with first class Honors, earned through research into chronic recurrent ankle sprains. Michelle has just returned to QLD after living in London for 5 years. While in London she worked on prestigious "Harley Street" in Londons West End and had the opportunity to treat Lords, Ladies, Sheik's, Princesses and of course dancers and actresses. In the UK she also worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist and established a Womens Health Program for management of pre and post partum issues. Michelle is trained in the use of diagnostic ultrasound to assess and teach activation of the core muscles. She has over 7 years experience teaching Clinical Pilates and combines her knowledge of pilates and exercise therapy in her physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs. In 2009 Michelle completed studies in acupuncture and is now an accredited acupuncturist.
Interests: Michelle is a keen runner and aspiring cyclist and swimmer. She completed her first Duathon in Sept 2007 aswell as her first Triathlon in 2008. She enjoyes cooking and even completed a cooking course in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She also enjoys travelling as she has travelled to over 30 countries. In 2009 Michelle completed her first marathon the Gold Coast Marathon in an incredible debut time of 4:01!

Justin Lofton-Brook- Physiotherapist

Justin graduated from Griffith University in 2009 with his Masters of Physiotherapy. Originally from NZ, Australia was his first stop in 1994 of a six year working holiday. He spent several years working in the gold mining industry of Western Australia before travelling to the UK and other parts of Europe. He enjoys being immersed in other cultures and learning how different people interact.After returning from travelling he started studies at Griffith University in the area of Exercise Science and progressed onto Physiotherapy.
Through many years of competing in sports involving heavy loading through the lower limb (volleyball and basketball), Justin himself had many trips to his physiotherpaist for the rehabilitation of both knee and ankle injuries. Hence Justin has extensive insight into the best practice of knee and ankle injuries. Justin has a further keen interest in the treatment and management of shoulder and back problems. Justin is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Interests: As a practising physiotherapist it is important to keep fit and well and Justin enjoys running (sometimes with his wife Allison!) and spending time at the beach with friends playing both competitive and social beach volleyball. He completed the Gold Coast Marathon in 2003 and would like do so once again in 2010.
