BACK IN MOTION BrunswickEstablished in 2004 in Coburg, we relocated to Brunswick in early 2008. Our professionally designed facility retains its old warehouse features, while offering a modern, warm and vibrant atmosphere for both exercise and treatments. BIM Brunswick boasts a full pilates and exercise studio, 6 private tratment roomss, a private class area and a team of 8 Physiotherapists. All supported by a friendly team of support staff to ensure you are made to feel welcome and supported.

STAFFMarcus Pain- Principal PhysioMarcus was born and raised in New Zealand and graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in 1999 and moved to Melbourne in 2001 where he joined BIM as one of the original employees. In 2004 he opened the Coburg clinic and then Epping in Jan 2007 before relocating Coburg to Brunswick in early 2008. His areas of particular interest are Clinical Pilates, Chronic and persistent back and spinal injuries and sporting injuries. Marcus has been a keen sportsman, taking part in sailing to a high level, running and cycling and is an avid fan of the All Blacks and more recently St Kilda Saints. He also loves spending time with his wife Melissa and children Cleo and Knox. Melissa Pain- Brunswick ManagerMelissa was born and grew up in the East Gippsland region near Lakes Entrance. Melissa began working at Back in Motion Coburg in mid 2004 as the Practice Manager and is now involved in running the Brunswick and Epping clinics. Melissa is currently studying Business/Marketing and her roles at Brunswick involve the day to day running of the business, staff management, marketing and strategic planning of the business. Outside of work, Melissa is an exercise fanatic, currently a very enthusiastic runner, also enjoys swimming, pilates and cycling. Being a mother of 2, to Cleo, and Knox, she is always on the go. Bradley Gin- PhysiotherapistBradley Gin was born and raised in the small country town of Kerang in northern Victoria. With a very keen interest in sport Brad quickly found himself involved in any and every sport available to him from a young age including swimming, football, tennis, basketball, table tennis, cricket and golf. This interest in sport and the injuries he sustained from playing sport lead to Brad's interest in physiotherapy. Brad is now interested in specific aspects of physiotherapy such as sports injuries, spinal injuries, pilates and dry needling. Elizabeth Ferris- PhysiotherapistLiz was born and raised in Melbourne, studied physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. After graduating, she jumped straight into working in private practice at Back In Motion Brunswick. Her areas of interest include sport and women's health physiotherapy . Liz has also been involved as a Physiotherapist for a VFL Football team for 2 years. In her spare time she likes to catch up for a coffee with friends and training for local fun runs. She also likes organising social and charitable events for the clinic to participate in. Georgia Roberts- PhysiotherapistGeorgia grew up in Ballarat before getting the travel bug, spending a year overseas between high school and university. After graduating from Melbourne University she spent over a year traveling around the world. She has returnedto Melbourne and is thrilled to be working at BIM and in the Brunswick team. Kate Wallis- PhysiotherapistKate is from New Zealand and has recently moved to Melbourne having spent the previous year working in the U.K. She graduated in 2002 and went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine whilst working in Private Practice. Kate has a special interest in the area of muscle balance and she is a strong advocate for Pilates in rehabilitation and injury prevention. Kate enjoys keeping fit through tennis, running and Pilates. Rohan Singleton- PhysiotherapistOriginally from Canberra, Rohan graduated from Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. He has a keen interest in all areas of both musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Rohan combined this interest with his love of travel, spending time studying at Michigan State University. Here he worked with the Athletic Training department, focusing on such sports as American football, volleyball and basketball. Rohan has also worked as a sports trainer with soccer and football teams. Outside of physiotherapy, Rohan enjoys spending time on the golf course, travelling, cycling, running, swimming and playing social mixed netball Xavier Nardino- PhysiotherapistOrginally from Gippsland, Xavier moved to Melbourne to complete his physiotherapy degree at the University of Melbourne. He began working at Back In Motion soon after graduating and is currently completing further study in the field of commerce, majoring in finance, also at Melbourne University. Xavier is involved in a variety of sports including football, basketball, cycling and running. He enjoys the sports physiotherapy aspect of his profession and specialises in cycling injuries. He is currently the physiotherapist for the Newman College Football Team. Courtney Saunders- AdministrationCourtney grew up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with her parents and older brother. Upon completion of her VCE in 2006, Courtney went on to study music at JMC Academy. After completing her first year at university, Courtney moved to Brisbane for 6 months to enjoy the sunshine, and is now settling back into Melbourne’s erratic weather patterns! Lorelei Camboni- AdministrationLorelei has been at BIM since 2005 while a school student and is currently studying Fashion Design and Technology at RMIT and working as a receptionist at Back in Motion part time. Besides fashion being one of Lorelei's strong passions in life, she loves dancing which she has been doing since 3 years old. Sarah Coles- AdministrationSarah was born and raised on a farm near Alexandra in Northeast Victoria. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne and lived at Queens college for her first two years. Sarah has a keen interest in sport, health and human anatomy which is where her passion for Physiotherapy originated. Anna Scovelle- AdministrationAnna grew up in Perth, Western Australia and moved to Melbourne in 2009 for a bit of adventure! She is currently studying Psychology at Monash Univeristy with the hope of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. Anna's primary areas of interest are Sleep Psychology and Women's Mental Health. In her spare time (what spare time?!) Anna loves to dance, read, and bake cakes! |
