Alternatively, we have physiotherapists available at our practice in the Australia On Collins building in the CBD - Level 5, Shop 507, 260 Collins St Melbourne.

STAFFChris White-PhysiotherapistOriginally from Watford in England, Chris obtained his physiotherapy degree from the University of Hertfordshire in 1999. For the first 8 years of his career he worked for the NHS (government-funded health service in the UK) in the East and North Herts region. He left the NHS in May 2007 as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist. In June 2007, Chris moved to Melbourne with his Australian finance. After several short stints working in the physiotherapy out-patient department at the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg, he joined Back In Motion's Docklands practice as an associate physiotherapist in August 2008.Chris has valuable experience in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal problems and uses a variety of different treatment approaches (including manual therapy, therapeutic massage, electrotherapy, Pilates/exercise therapy). His main area of interest is lower limb rehabilitation and he really enjoys the challenge of working with post-trauma and surgical patients over longer periods of time. Chris loves sport (mainly watching) and music. On weekends you'll either find him at the G following the Tige's, catching up with the latest EPL action, watching a gig or listening to his extensive CD collection. He is also keen on exploring more of Australia's flora and fauna, and is already enjoying the outdoor lifestyle! Lisa Garrett- Practice Manager and Remedial MasseurLisa was born and raised in Melbourne and currently lives in Elwood with her 7 year old son Ethan. She joined Back In Motion in February 2008. Lisa is also a qualified Remedial Massage therapist and treats 2 afternoons a week. (Monday & Wednesday).Lisa has over 9 years experience working in the Health industry in a variety of different roles from reception to practice management in sports injury and spinal clinics, hospitals and also in private and general practice. She completed her Diploma of remedial massage in 2005 and offers a variety of remedial technique including Deep tissue; trigger point, sports and relaxation massage. Lisa enjoys all things beach, river, music and dance. You will find her at the beach surfing and sunning or spinning and smiling somewhere on the dance floor..! |
