STAFF________________________ Adrian Persi, Practice Principal Although Adrian is not currently treating in a hands on capacity, he still heads up the team at Back in Motion, Wantirna South as the Practice Principal, a job which he juggles perfectly whilst staying committed to his responsibilities as the Network Practice Manager overseeing our Blackburn South, Tecoma & Clayton practices as well as our corporate division, Actif. Adrian is the ultimate “go to” man when in need of some friendly advice, whether it is in regards to an injury, career path, a personal situation or simply his footy tips for the weekend. Nothing puts a bigger smile on Adrian’s face than seeing his old clients in the reception area and having a quick catch up, it definitely makes all of the hard work and long hours, WORTH IT! ________________________ Shivam Prakash, Clinical Service Co-ordinator (Senior Physio) (Wednesday 6.20pm – Muscles in Motion Class Leader) Shiv is Back in Motion, Wantirna South’s most experienced treating Physiotherapist. He is committed to archiving the highest results for his clients by emphasising a holistic approach and promoting exercise based rehabilitation and strengthening, he relishes the challenge of improving a person's health, fitness and injury concerns. Shiv has further extended his skills via courses in sports, spinal, hip & pelvis, dancers foot injuries, ankle biomechanics, and in particular, dry needling. Shiv is a sporting enthusiast, participating in soccer, kung fu, gym and running, and is the clinic’s one and only “lonely” Collingwood Magpies supporter. ________________________ Liann O'Halloran, Clinical Service Co-ordinator (Senior Physio) (Tuesday 6.00pm & Thursday 1.15pm – Muscles in Motion Class Leader) Liann completed her studies at the University of Melbourne and is currently the Aged Care Coordinator for the region. She has a passion for providing a high quality service including Pilates and Aged Care and has taken a particular interest in developing Aged Care services within the area. Liann currently overlooks 7 contracts with Nursing Homes, Hostels and Retirement Villages and promotes healthy living and well being. Liann is apart of the Back in Motion SOS Foundation and as an active member travelled to Gove in Arnhem Land, NT to assist in the building of facilities for the volunteers working with the indigenous community. A testament that she definitely wears her heart on her sleeve!! ________________________ Alex Drew, Clinical Associate Physiotherapist (Monday 6.00pm – Muscles in Motion Class Leader) Alex's passion for Physiotherapy is evident and almost contagious from your very first meeting with him. If there is anything he does not know about a certain injury, be certain it will not be for very long, as soon as a task or challenge is presented Alex tackles it head on and presents 100% on the topic. Sports injuries are Alex's specialty as he volunteers for the AFL team the Kangaroos (yes, he is a supporter, even though he is a Western Australian) as Physiotherapist for the team on top of his full time position at Back in Motion, Wantirna South. ________________________ Ceri Pritchard, Clinical Associate Physiotherapist (Monday 7.00pm & Wednesday 11.20am – Mums in Motion Class Leader) Ceri has a strong interest in Women’s Health and since completing her studies at Curtain University in Perth and making the move over east she has taken great pride in coordinating our post and antenatal exercise classes. When not greeting her patients in the waiting room with a friendly smile, she can be found on the sidelines watching and cheering on at her partners' Grid Iron games where she is the Senior Medic. When away from work, Ceri is kept busy by her two little Burmilla kitten “fur children”, Sid & Leela! ________________________ Ben Croxford, Clinical Associate Physiotherapist (Thursday 6.00pm – Muscles in Motion Class Leader) Ben is an enthusiastic addition to the Back in Motion, Wantirna South team. She is always the first to offer to help out at other Back in Motion clinics during times of staff absences; it is this kind of attitude that makes her invaluable and a real client favorite. Jo is currently undertaking an Exercise Science degree at University and upon completion we hope to help her make the transition to the clinical side of the business and have her join our team of Physiotherapists. ________________________ Samantha De Biasi, Reception & Administration Sam is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, your welcoming first point of contact with our practice. Sam's positive outlook is contagious, and is probably why she is the unofficial "social coordinator" of the practice, making sure that everyone catches up for a laugh outside of work hours. She has a keen interest in all sports, especially swimming and horse riding. Since completing a Diploma of Business Administration, and a Medical Termination course Sam has become an integral part of the administration team at Back in Motion, Wantirna South. She is also an enthusiastic addition to Back in Motion’s emerging leadership program, Iceberg. ________________________ Erin Nicholas (E.J – Erin Junior), Reception & Administration Erin first presented to Back in Motion as a patient, and basically never left! On any given day you can always find at least one of Erin's family members in our clinic receiving Physiotherapy treatment or in a Pilates class, they are now all honorary members of the Back in Motion team! Erin has successfully completed Diploma of Medical Administration and can more often than not, be found sharing a giggle in the reception area with our clients. Erin's moto in life is simple, "everyone deserves music - sweet, sweet music!" and in her time away from work, she loves taking time out with her family and friends - and spends all of her money on tickets to music festivals and handbags from the Kate Hill store!! ________________________ Zoe Brush, Administration Assistant Zoe is currently completing her VCE at Tintern. Like many of our passionate employees, Zoe began as a patient at Back in Motion and when it was time to choose a location to complete her school work experience she naturally chose HERE! She has such an eager and bubbly personality which ensured she was offered a part time position with us on Saturdays. |
