THANK YOU!
We would like to thank everyone who has supported during this time. A huge thanks to those in the community who are doing their part in distancing if at risk. Also, a massive thanks to all those essential workers doing their part including our staff!
It’s been a challenging couple of months, but now most of us are settling into a new type of ‘normal’. In this month’s newsletter we’ll bring you up to speed with what has been happening in the clinic, new services we’re offering and what the future might hold.
Can I still come in for physio?
Absolutely! Alterations to people’s lifestyles means we are seeing different issues in our clients. Lots of people are now working from home, often with less suitable work areas than they’d have in their offices. We can assist with any issues in this spectrum, whether it be treatment for a condition, development of an exercise program to prevent problems or ergonomic assessment of someone’s workstation.
Hygiene and COVID-19
Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that physiotherapy as an essential service several weeks ago. Since then we have been taking many steps to ensure the safety of clients. This includes:
- Physios certified in COVID-19 infection control training
- No bed towels, beds sprayed after all patients
- Frequent cleaning of handles, chair arms and other surfaces
- Spacing and chairs marked in the clinic for physical distancing
- Limiting the usage of the gym
- Gloves worn in gym and for all consults
- Altered shifts to minimise cross over between physios
- Hand sanitizer in all rooms
- And other strategies to protect our clients
Exercise
There are lots of options for exercise while we’re at home, indeed this could be a good time to dedicate some more time to increasing your activity levels. We’re happy to help with developing a program you can do at home, as physios this is a core piece of our interventions anyway, so we’re really good at it!

I need input but I cant get to the clinic?
If you can't come to us, we can come to you through Telehealth or Home visits. This will allow you to continue treatment with your Physio and stay on the road to recovery.
Telehealth is our new online Physio service. Clients can access telehealth through the following service providers:
- Private Health
- WorkCover
- TAC
- DVA
- Medicare
- Self-funded
Through a telehealth consult we can take history, diagnose and come up with a management plan just as we would in a normal consult. We can offer you short, medium and long consultations to suit your situation, and to ensure you don’t fall behind in your treatment.
To access this service, you will simply need a computer or smart device with an internet connection and camera. We will send you an email or text message with a secure ID login and access to a private video consultation with your preferred Physio.
