Published: April 6, 2022

Fiona Burford is one of our physiotherapists with expertise in Women’s Health, concurrently completing her Masters in Pelvic Health physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Cert in pelvic organ prolapse through UniSA. She has completed several short courses through the APA and WHTA.

Combined with her clinical experience, she can assist with:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Overactive bladder
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pelvic pain – common in clients with Endometriosis
  • Sexual dysfunction – such as vaginismus
  • Fecal or flatal incontinence

Fiona also helps women through pregnancy and into Motherhood, with common conditions including:

  • Pelvic girdle pain (SIJ or pubic symphysis)
  • Lower back pain
  • Rectus diastasis (abdominal muscle separation)

Fiona also runs our Mums & Bubs classes which are tailored to the individual – those new to exercise or Mums who are keen to get back to high-impact classes or running. As part of our Mums & Bubs service, you'll receive a free pre-class assessment during which we establish goals, but also assess abdominal separation, pelvic floor and musculoskeletal concerns. This allows us to tailor exercises for the best results.

No matter what stage of life you are in, if you're needing help, we are here for you.
