Orlando Meehan

Director and Physiotherapist

Orlando is a Senior Physiotherapist and co-owner of Back In Motion Balcatta and Marangaroo.

In his treatment, Orlando uses a combination of manual therapy, advanced dry needling and exercise prescription to provide the best-possible outcomes for his clients. His focus is on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based management, and client education and goals to achieve high client satisfaction and long-lasting results. 

Orlando joined Back In Motion in 2017 as a recipient of the Group's Practice Launch Scholarship.

If you travel along Wanneroo road you might see him cruising to and from work on his Onewheel, he loves any excuse to ride this electric contraption every day!  

Ashley Flynn

Director and Physiotherapist

Ashley joins Back in Motion Balcatta and Marangaroo with 11 years of clinical experience, working in private practice clinics and with NBL1 basketball teams since graduating University with Orlando!

Ash has previously worked in South Perth, before recently transitioning to Back In Motion Balcatta. Ash also works with high performance athletes at Land Performance Centre, with access to a variety of equipment including a basketball half court, power racks and sled tracks. Ash believes the blend of strength and functional training allows for optimal return to sport outcomes! Having personally undergone and returned to perform from ACL reconstruction, meniscus resection, and shoulder stabilization (laterjet) surgery, Ash has firsthand experience and insight into the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of recovery.

Ash's clinical interests include post surgical rehabilitation, tendinopathies, shoulder and ankle injuries, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues, Ankylosing Spondylitis and amputee rehabilitation. Ash is passionate about helping clients regain confidence in their movement and achieve sustainable long term results.

When not in the clinic, Ash spends his time playing basketball, walking the long way on the golf course, swimming at the beach or walking his four legged friend Jimmy.

Physiotherapist

Pasan Wickrama, originally from Sri Lanka, brings his passion and expertise to our team. With experience at Sri Lanka's Winlanka Hospital and Metro Clinic, he is a leading professional. As the founder of “Healing Hands Physiotherapy Clinic,” Pasan is renowned for personalized care and innovative treatments.

Pasan is a physiotherapist for the St. Thomas College Rugby team and has inspired many as a visiting lecturer at the National Institute of Sports Science in Sri Lanka.

He enjoys collaborating with his clients to find the best treatment and management for you as an individual to help you return to your life and hobbies. In his free time, Pasan enjoys watching movies, playing cricket and spending time with his daughter.
