Back In Motion St Helena Mediplex

Thank you for choosing us here at Back In Motion Eltham. Dave and Cherie are thrilled to be locals, raising their 4 children and family in this lovely community; Mat and Shona are also locals with Mat growing up and playing sport in the area since childhood. Dave and Cherie have loved working in their local area for over 15 years, having first worked in Templestowe in 2005, before launching their own business in St Helena in early 2008, relocating to Montmorency in December 2008 prior to moving into our purpose-built facility in Eltham in mid-2019. Along with Mat being part of the Back In Motion family for over 10 years.

We are passionate about optimising the health of our clients and community via access to high quality health care and education to allow us all to reach or re-find our full potential; and get back to doing the things we love. The human body is amazing and this is why we do what we do. We feel both honoured and grateful to be entrusted the opportunity to assist all of our staff and patients along their health journey.

Thank you, and we hope to see you soon whilst healthy or when needed whilst re-finding your best because of a setback or pesky injury.

We are continuing to take all necessary precautions and training in regard to COVID; to help stop the spread please let us know if you are unwell, have had a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.

Our rehabilitation studio has been reconfigured to allow for appropriate social distancing. We greatly appreciate your assistance in maintaining appropriate social distancing and bringing a towel or mat to your classes. Our team continue to follow a strict hygiene and disinfection procedure in consult rooms and rehab studio between sessions.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon,
David, Cherie, Mat and Shona, and the team at BIM Eltham.

Quick-fixes vs. lasting results

We understand that sometimes you want a “quick-fix” for your injury, however our experience continues to prove that this ends up being more costly and inconvenient over time.

We believe in getting the right result the first time so you can get back to what you love without the threat of re-injury. You will be surprised at all the physical health benefits that come with sticking to your personalised Results4Life® roadmap, including improved flexibility, mobility and strength.

Our Practice

Who we are

We provide physiotherapy, massage, Clinical Exercise, and exercise and rehab to Eltham and surrounding suburbs. We have one-on-one and semi-private classes and because our services are delivered by physiotherapists you can claim them on private health insurance with extras cover.

Why we're different

A "quick-fix" for your pain or injury might sound good, but over time is proven to be inconvenient, costly and ineffective in comparison to taking preventative measures. Our unique clinical approach, Results4Life, keeps you on track towards optimal lifelong physical health.

Our guarantee

We are committed to your satisfaction and delivering the very best in physiotherapy care, customer service and outcomes. If you are not 100% satisfied with your experience at Back In Motion, we will refund your money on your last session and deliver your next session free.

Physiotherapist

Benjamin is a passionate physiotherapist whose love for the profession developed after spending his younger years playing cricket and basketball; gaining an insight into the importance of an active lifestyle and optimising your health and wellbeing.

Having graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice, Ben's clinical interests include neck and back pain as well as sporting injuries, stemming from his current role as a physiotherapist with the Northern Bullants in the VFL.

He believes a tailored combination of hands-on therapies, exercise prescription and education lead to the best outcomes for each patient and allows them to return to their best.

Outside of work, you'll find Ben on the golf course, taking his two golden retrievers for a walk or trying a new cooking recipe.
