IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Regarding changes to Private Health Insurance and Rebates for Clinical Exercise
This document outlines some of the upcoming changes to Private Health Insurance regarding rebates for Clinical Exercise and how this may or may not affect you.
The good news is that our classes are Physiotherapy based and focused on a tailored program for individual impairments, goals and treatment, and therefore will continue to be eligible for private health rebates.
In order to continue to receive the rebates, your physiotherapist will ensure that you have undertaken a thorough assessment, have set goals and are prescribed an individual exercise program tailored to you requirements.
From April 1st , our Clinical Exercise sessions will be known as Clinical Exercise, which is our way of distinguishing between our unique clinical service offering and traditional Clinical Exercise. Clients who haven’t had an assessment will be required to complete an assessment in order to be eligible for the rebate. Additionally, you will be required to attend an in-rooms session with a physio every three (3) months to reassess your goals and review your progress. This review is a requirement of the health funds and will be provided by us at a reduced rate or in most cases no out-of-pocket costs.
If you are already being seen in-rooms by your physio for the condition relating to your Clinical Exercise sessions, you do not need to worry about this additional review session, as it will be included in your regular treatment.
Overall, we see this as a great opportunity to ensure all clients doing classes with us are working towards their personal goals.
