Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Back In Motion Semaphore
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a specialised exercise and education program designed to help people with lung conditions improve their breathing, strength and overall quality of life. It is commonly recommended for people living with conditions such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, or those experiencing breathlessness that limits their daily activities.
At Back In Motion Semaphore, our pulmonary rehabilitation sessions are supervised by physiotherapists and focus on safe, tailored exercise to improve endurance, strength and confidence with movement. Each participant completes an initial assessment so we can design a program suited to their current fitness, symptoms and goals.
During the program you can expect:
- Supervised aerobic and strength exercises
- Breathing and pacing strategies to manage breathlessness
- Support to build confidence with everyday activities
Our goal is to help you feel stronger, move more easily and regain confidence in your ability to stay active. Programs are delivered in a supportive small-group environment, allowing you to progress at your own pace with guidance from our clinical team.
