We hope that you all had a great long weekend and you were able to get away and have a bit of a mid year break.
In the depths of winter it can be hard to motivate yourself to be active and well - but there is plenty that you can do to keep fit. It is important to keep the momentum going as it is a lot harder once you stop.
Exercise is so important to recovery, repair, healing and overall health and wellness and time should be made each week to get exercise in.The World Health Organisation recommends 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity each week.
So if you are struggling with the weather, just think about getting to 150 minutes each week - this could be made up of walking the dog, indoor exercise, home exercise or group activity - it all counts!

WHY DO I NEED TO DO REHAB?
Rehabilitation following any injury is so important. Treatment needs to take 2 approaches - one is symptom relief, the other is rehabilitation to address the underlying cause of the injury. If an injury is not rehabilitated properly, the risk of re-injury or another injury is increased dramatically. Think of the top athletes - they have to do rehab, why shouldn’t you? NOW THE LADDER BARREL!
Again, Ash is here to show you some exercises that can be done on the Ladder Barrel! This is great for hip, hamstring and spinal rehabilitation. Not just in terms of strength and control, but also with mobility and stretching. This equipment looks scary, but is a great addition to rehabilitation or exercise to keep you fit and strong.
