Restrictions easing!

Published: October 20, 2021

The Victorian restrictions are set to ease further as we approach our 70% double dose vaccination targets! And there is some good news for allied health including physiotherapy and exercise physiology!

From Friday 22nd October, we will be able to see ALL patients for routine care without having to fulfill criteria for essential or urgent care. This comes as great news and will result in some changes!

  • We will be able to offer massage as a stand alone service again
  • We will also be able to offer group rehab classes again from November 1. Those in a class will be contacted to confirm their original group times and days.
  • We will not have to have questions screening your injury - but we will continue to screen for signs of COVID and ensure that we keep our staff, patients and community COVID safe and aligning to our COVID safe plan.

At the moment, there is no directive regarding vaccinated or unvaccinated care (as there are in retail or hospitality). It is unlikely they they will mandate access to healthcare based on vaccination status, meaning that we are required to see both vaccinated and unvaccinated patients unless things change. All staff have been vaccinated. Please let us know if you are concerned about this and we can discuss with you how we can assist. If you are unvaccinated, we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can have appropriate PPE to ensure that we will not be at risk of COVID or our staff being a close contact that will result in 7 days mandatory isolation.

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know on 95801985
