To begin Clinical Exercise at Back In Motion Brighton, you’ll first need a Clinical Exercise assessment with one of our physiotherapists. During this appointment, your physio will take a detailed medical history, review any past or current injuries, and discuss your individual goals. From there, they will design a tailored Clinical Pilates program specific to your needs.
Your physio may recommend 2–3 one-on-one sessions to guide you through your program, ensure correct technique, and build your confidence before transitioning into group classes.
Our semi-private Clinical Exercise classes run for 40 minutes with a maximum of four participants. This small group size allows your physiotherapist to closely monitor your technique and adjust your program as needed to support your progress.
Sessions may include a combination of mat and reformer-based exercises, designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and control. Clinical Pilates is highly effective in rehabilitation settings, as it targets specific muscle groups, supports injury recovery, and follows a gradual, individualised progression—helping you move safely while reducing the risk of re-injury.
