The importance of sleep

Published: August 7, 2020

When we were children, some of us never wanted to go to bed early, always wanting to stay up late and sometimes we would fight tooth and nail just to stay up an extra half hour (insert Gemma, Ellie and Milla at the Spithill household). Fast forward to our adult life and some mornings we are already looking forward to going to sleep in the evening! Is it because we now value the importance of sleep or is it that we are always exhausted; or is it a bit of both?

Sleep is vital to our everyday function – it affects our mood, concentration levels, pain levels and muscle repair, the list goes on! Our team have delved a little deeper into sleep and have put together some blogs to demonstrate how the body and our nutrition can affect how good our night’s sleep is.

Hopefully the information in the blogs can assist you in having a better night’s sleep, resulting in you feeling refreshed in the morning!
