Important Changes to Private Health Insurance Clinical Exercise Rebates

Published: March 6, 2019

Dear Valued Client,

This letter outlines some of the recent changes to Private Health Insurance that will take place starting April 1st 2019, regarding rebates for Clinical Exercise and how this may or not affect you.

The good news is that our classes are Physiotherapy based and focus on a tailored program for individual impairments, goals and treatment and therefore will continue to be eligible for rebate.

In order to continue to receive the rebate your physiotherapist will ensure that you have undertaken a thorough assessment, have set outcome measures, and are prescribed an individual exercise program tailored to your requirements in order to help you achieve your set goals.

From April 1st, our Clinical Exercise sessions will be known as Clinical Exercisewhich is our way of distinguishing between our unique clinical service offering and traditional Clinical Exercise. Clients who haven’t had an assessment will be required to complete an assessment in order to be eligible for the rebate.

Overall, we see this as a great opportunity to ensure all clients doing classes with us are working towards their personal goals.

If you have any questions relating to the changes, please feel free to speak to us on 9754 8772 or email tecoma@backinmotion.com.au
