Running Packages

Zoe is our resident expert on almost all things physio-related and in particular, she has a special interest in running re-training. 

We have created three packages of varying detail to help you on your running journey. Whether you're just starting out, or are a seasoned runner, Zoe will be able to provide you with a comprehensive analysis of your technique and ensure you achieve the outcome you hope. 

BRONZE PACKAGE

Detailed injury and exercise assessment of 1 hour duration where your running technique is assessed on the treadmill, a comprehensive report is provided after the session, along with advice and exercises to complete in your own time that address the main assessment findings. 

SILVER PACKAGE

4-session package that involves the above Bronze package in addition to 3 follow up sessions

Week 1 

Initial injury and exercise assessment as per the Bronze package

Week 2

Zoe will provide you with a return to running plan if necessary, integrate technique modification, flexibility and strengthening exercises into your running program. Zoe will discuss your life goals and your goals for running, exercise and recovery. She will devise an exercise program based on this, follow up on your initial running and exercise assessment, and discuss the exercise options we have here in clinic and ensure we have strategies in place to get you running pain free, better and faster.

 Week 4

This session is to review your progress. Changing running technique can feel unfamiliar and hard to adapt to at the beginning. Building strength is a key part of the program and at this point we should see huge improvements that need building on. Running technique exercises and modifications also need reviewing. As you adapt, exercises need to be made harder and so that you continue to make improvements.

Week 6

Now that you are a little more settled into a routine, reviewing your running and exercise program are important to keep progressing.

We can recommend progressions, discuss safe exercise options at home, consider in-practice sessions and create a plan that fits into your busy new-mum schedule. We know that finding a routine is difficult, so of paramount importance to us is ensuring we are working with you to make things easier. We will always work and adapt to what’s best for you.

GOLD PACKAGE

The Silver package with the added benefit of supervised exercise to help monitor your exercise program and running and maintain your health and fitness in a supportive and professional environment.

#1. 2 x 1:1 Clinical exercise sessions (2 x 40mins)

We know that strength and flexibility has an important role in injury prevention in running. In these sessions, you will learn your very own personalised exercise program using our Clinical exercise equipment and Pilates-based equipment. This program will be devised based on the goals that you have identified in earlier sessions. This program is the one that you will complete during our Clinical Exercise classes. One session is used as a review and progression session.

#2. 12 pack Clinical Exercise Classes (12 x 40mins)

Following on from your 1:1 sessions with Zoe, you can commence our clinical exercise classes which are a fantastic way to improve you strength and therefore improve your running technique. You will be closely monitored and supported by our team to ensure you achieve your goals.

You will have the opportunity to purchase another 12 pack at a reduced rate following the completion of your first silver package.

All packages are claimable on your PHI at the completion of your package, or we can arrange for individual receipts to be sent out following each session.
