WHAT IS CUPPING THERAPY?
Cupping therapy is believed to help alleviate symptoms by enhancing blood circulation near the skin's surface and by boosting immune function
The Effects of Cupping Therapy

Cupping can help conditions and presentations like:
- Lower back pain
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Headaches and migraines
- Knee pain
- Plantar fascia
- Asthma
Side Effects:
- Cupping generally has few side effects, mostly occurring during or right after treatment.
Possible effects include:
- Circular marks where cups were applied
- Skin discoloration
- Bruising
- Skin scarring
- Dizziness, which may include lightheadedness, sweating, or nausea
Cupping should be avoided if you are on blood-thinning medications or if you have:
- Sunburn
- Open wounds
- Skin ulcers
- Recent injuries
- Blood disorders
- Thinning skin
What to Expect During a Cupping Session:
The practitioner will inquire about your symptoms and may take a comprehensive health history if it’s your first visit.
- Cups will be placed on your skin
- You’ll experience a suction sensation and pressure as the cups are applied
- Depending on the method, the practitioner may use heat or suction to secure the cups
- After a few minutes of rest, the practitioner will return to remove the cups
- Post-treatment, your skin may appear red and show slight bruising
