Run Stronger. Run Smarter. Run With Confidence.
Whether you're training for your first 5K or chasing a marathon PB, our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists offer running assessments to help you perform at your best, and stay injury-free along the way.
At our clinic, running isn’t just something we treat, it’s something we do. Our team includes avid runners who understand the demands of training, racing, and recovering. We combine real-world running experience with cutting-edge sports science to deliver industry-leading running assessments and programming.
Why not just use AI?
AI is a fantastic tool for training plans, we use it ourselves, both personally and in clinic. It can be a great starting point.
But running isn’t one-size-fits-all.
AI-generated programs can miss the subtle details that matter: your injury history, how your body responds to load, your work-life balance, your recovery capacity, and your goals. They’re often rigid and can leave important gaps in your training.
When you work with one of our clinicians, you get more than a program; you get individualised care. We assess you, treat what needs attention, and tailor your training to your body and your circumstances. We make the right adjustments at the right time so you can train consistently and perform at your best.
Think about how you use AI in your own work. It’s helpful, but you still refine it to suit your expertise and what you know works.
That’s where we come in. We take the framework and make the necessary edits, so you get exactly what you need to run stronger, longer, and with fewer setbacks.
State-of-the-Art Performance Testing with VALD Technology
Our clinicians will take you through a Run-Specific Isometric Test Battery (RSIST). This is an advanced strength assessment designed to measure how well the lower body can generate force in positions that closely mimic those used during high-speed running. The test evaluates force production at the hip, knee, and ankle using joint angles similar to those experienced while running.
The clinician will compare your results to established performance benchmarks to identify strength deficits, monitor rehabilitation progress, and help determine whether an athlete is ready to safely return to running. The assessment is particularly useful for runners and field-sport athletes recovering from lower-limb injuries, as it provides objective data to guide strength programming and ensure athletes are truly “strong enough to run well.”
This data allows us to identify hidden weaknesses, asymmetries, and inefficiencies that may be limiting performance or increasing injury risk.
We can take this information along with your goals to build a comprehensive program.
Comprehensive Running Assessments
Our Running Assessment includes:
- Detailed injury and training history review
- Strength and mobility screening
- Force and power testing using VALD systems (as above)
- Running load and programming review
- Personalised feedback and action plan
You’ll leave knowing:
- What’s working well
- What needs attention
- How to improve performance safely
Individualised Exercise Programming
Running alone isn’t enough to build resilience.
We design tailored strength and conditioning programs that:
- Improve running economy
- Increase power and speed
- Enhance tendon and joint capacity
- Reduce injury risk
- Support long-term performance
Programs are built specifically to complement your running load , whether you're in base training, race prep, or returning from injury.
Injury Support - When You Need It
We’re here at every stage of your running journey:
- Pre-training assessments before starting a new program
- Acute injury management when pain arises
- Load modification & return-to-run plans
- Performance check-ups during training cycles
- Early intervention keeps small issues from becoming long layoffs.
