ONERO® Osteoporosis Exercise Program | Back In Motion Clayton
Exercise to Strengthen Bones, Build Muscle & Reduce Falls
At Back In Motion Clayton, we are proud to offer ONERO®, a research-backed exercise program specifically designed for osteoporosis and fall prevention.
Exercise is critical for bone health throughout life. ONERO® targets bone density, muscle strength, and balance to reduce the risk of osteoporotic fractures, making it ideal for adults of any age concerned about bone health.
Conveniently located at 251 Clayton Road, opposite Monash Hospital, our practice is licensed to deliver the ONERO® program under the supervision of a certified physiotherapist.
Why Exercise Matters for Bones
Bones benefit from the right type of exercise throughout life:
- Childhood: Build bigger, stronger bones
- Adulthood: Maintain bone density
- Older age: Prevent falls and fractures
Professor Belinda Beck, Director of The Bone Clinic, emphasises that effective exercise can grow, maintain, and protect bones, helping reduce fracture risk as we age.
What Makes ONERO® Different?
Not all exercise improves bone health. ONERO® is scientifically designed to:
✔ Increase bone density
✔ Strengthen muscles
✔ Improve balance and coordination
✔ Reduce the risk of falls
Research shows that just twice a week of ONERO® exercises is enough to stimulate bone and muscle development. The original program included only 1 hour of exercise per week, making it safe and achievable for adults of all fitness levels.
Who Can Participate in ONERO®?
- Adults diagnosed with osteoporosis
- Adults at risk of osteoporotic fracture
- Individuals looking to reduce falls risk and improve bone strength
- Suitable for most adults of any age, under physiotherapist supervision
Supervision is essential. Our licensed physiotherapists ensure exercises are safe, effective, and tailored to each participant.
