Back In Motion Attends Physiotherapy New Zealand’s National Conference
In September, Back In Motion Health Group attended Physiotherapy New Zealand’s National Physiotherapy Conference in Auckland.
Group Director, Jason T Smith was invited to present to delegates on the topic Future Proofing Private Practice.
Jason’s presentation covered trends in physiotherapy private practice, his initial motivations to begin his own private practice and the struggles he and his wife Paulina experienced early on. This led into his advice for building a successful private practice and sustaining it into the future, commenting on the current dynamic state of the health care space.

- Put the right model in place to assure great PERFORMANCE

Following this presentation, Professor Karim Khan of the University of British Columbian’s School of Kinesiology, invited Jason for an impromptu interview in front of a packed room during his keynote presentation. Professor Khan highlighted the business model Jason has built as being the optimal model for private practice. He noted that no matter how great a clinician is, their private practice will not flourish without strong business acumen and marketing and that this is where success lies in the future of physiotherapy.

Network Development Manager Fiona McKenzie represented Back In Motion in the exhibition hall taking many inquiries from prospective franchisees and employees. Jason’s bestselling book, Get Yourself Back In Motion was extremely well received by attendees who took interest in the Group's unique clinical philosophy, Results4Life® and preventative model to health care.
The invitation that was extended to Back In Motion Health Group can be viewed as a great credit to the Australian physiotherapy profession.
